What does it prove?
A+ certification proves that you can successfully troubleshoot
the majority of PC hardware and operating system issues.
Who is it designed for?
A+ certification is designed for entry-level computer
professionals who have about six months experience tinkering
with PCs.
What is required?
Candidates must pass two exams: one hardware-focused
exam and one operating system-focused exam.
What are the prequisite skills?
CompTIA, the creator of the A+ certification exams,
assumes that you are computer-literate, but not an expert.
There are no special prerequisites for this certification.
How should I prepare?
Most certification candidates prepare through instructor-led

Who is it designed for?
Network+ is designed for technical professionals and
aspiring technical professionals who will administer

Candidates must pass one required exam.
What are the prequisite skills?
CompTIA, the creator of the A+ certification exams,
assumes that you already possess the basic hardware
and software troubleshooting skills measured in the
A+ certification.

I-Net+ is designed for entry-level professionals who
will be working with the Internet in the context of
their career.

Pass one required exam.
What are the prequisite skills?
You should be familiar with the Internet as a user,
but you do not need to have significant computer expertise
to prepare for this exam.
